1. What is Fiber Optic GYTS Cable?
- The fiber optic GYTS cable is a highly reliable solution designed of cable specifically for outdoor duct and aerial installations.
- The fiber optic GYTS cables provide exceptional connectivity and data transmission in various applications such as FTTH, FTTA, FTTO, FTTB, FTTR, etc.
- The fiber optic GYTS consists of multiple PBT loose tubes. Color-coded optical fibers are protected within these loose tubes, which also contain a filling compound to safeguard the fibers against damage. Typically, a steel wire is incorporated into the core of the cable to enhance its tensile strength, thereby preventing accidental breakage during outdoor installation and avoiding unnecessary losses. The GYTS cable is wrapped in a layer of steel tape to further boost its tensile strength, and is finally encased in a black, UV-resistant PE outer sheath, ensuring a service life of 20 to 30 years in harsh outdoor environments.
